Swine flu case in St Annes

A ST ANNES woman has been diagnosed with swine flu.
The Health Protection Agency has confirmed the woman, who has recently returned from holiday, is being treated with antiviral drugs at home.

Her close friends and family are also being treated with antiviral medication.

She is the 13th person to be diagnosed with swine flu in the North West.

There have been three new cases diagnosed in the region - one in Liverpool, one in Ormskirk and the St Annes woman.
