OUR picture of the week shows two hawk moths snapped in the back garden of reader Pat Fergusson, who says: "The adults fly for only a couple of weeks at this time of year and when they open their wings fully, expose wonderful large, brightly coloured false eyes on their hind wings, which is enough to startle predators."
