Hundreds of people turned out for Park View’s annual fun day in Lytham.

Warm temperatures led to a great turn-out at the Park View Road-based site, with families enjoying entertainment varying from fairground rides, to sport and circus entertainers.

Maria Tierney, secretary of the trustees at Park View helped to organise the event.

She said: “It has been fantastic. It has been non-stop since we opened at 10am in the morning right through.

“We have had two such events before but never this popular.

“It is a fund-raiser for the Park View charity.

“We hope to do it next year – there has been lots of people on the park and lots of positive feedback.

“We’ve had lots of free activities with circus schools in the morning and AFC Fylde holding sports classes. There has been a real mix and something for everyone.”
