Don’t miss out on a piece of the action at this year’s St Annes Jigsaw Festival.
The event, featuring more than 200 completed puzzles on display, all for sale, started at the United Reformed Church in St Annes on Tuesday.
Organisers’ spokesman Matthew Willey said: “We pride ourselves on always having a full complement of puzzles on display although we can only ever have just over 200 on display.
“The festival is a popular event every year and it is particularly pleasing to see the pleasure jigsaws bring to youngsters as well as adults.
“When we started the event, a few people said to us that, with new technology, jigsaws were rather old-fashioned but they are as popular as ever.”
The festival runs up to and including Saturday from 10am to 4pm each day, with admission £2 for adults, including a free drink, and entry free for primary school age children.
The event includes a supervised children’s play area with games and jigsaws, hot refreshments and an adjacent room with a mega book sale.
