X FACTOR star Stacey Solomon came over all shy on her visit to the Fylde coast for a book signing.

The winner of reality TV show I’m Celebrity – Get Me Out Of Here visited Kirkham’s SilverDell bookshop to meet fans and autograph copies of her new book ‘My Story So Far’.

And despite singing in front of almost 90,000 football fans before Saturday’s FA Cup Final at Wembley – the 21-year-old’s nerves got the better of her as her publicists rang ahead before the event to ban press photographers from attending and minders shielded the TV star as she made her way into the bookshop.

The Gazette understands the songstress had bridled at reports in the Daily Mail suggesting she had got her look all wrong when appearing at a signing in Cheltenham earlier in the week and had become camera shy.

But Fylde coast fans of the mum-of-one - currently presenting prime-time show Sing If You Can - said she was pretty as a picture when appearing in Kirkham.
