Still going strong and they're heading this way

The Blues Band, who are still going strong 38 years after originally forming, will play Fleetwood Marine Hall as part of their upcoming tour.

The band, formed by Manfred Mann vocalist Paul Jones, will perform at the venue on Thursday, April 20.

Forming in 1979, Paul Jones was joined in the band by fellow Manfred Mann guitarist Tom McGuinness, slide guitarist Dave Kelly, bassist Gary Fletcher and drummer Hughie Flint (who has since been replaced by Rob Townsend).

During their career, they have released more than 20 albums and have toured with bands including The Dire Straits.
