SAS hero book signing

SilverDell, of Poulton Street, will host the author during an event at county hall in Preston to talk about hies new book Osama.

Ryan (left) is the pseudonym of a former British Special Forces operative and soldier turned novelist who first came to prominence following the first Gulf War.

He was the only member of the eight-man SAS mission Bravo Two Zero to escape during the conflict in 1991.

Since leaving the service he has turned his hand to writing and television hosting duties.

The event costs £5 entry which can be redeemed against the cost of the book on the night.
