Producers Polka Dot Pantomimes are again looking for children who live locally to take part in this year’s festive extravaganza, which runs at the Lytham theatre from December 14 to 30.

The company, which has produced the last two pantos at Lowther, is searching for an all-singing, all-dancing chorus of boys and girls aged between nine and 18. No previous dance, acting or singing experience is required – anyone with a genuine interest in theatre to audition is welcome to audition.

Between 18 and 24 young people are needed to form three teams of six to eight who will play alternate days during the run, performing alongside the professional principal actors. Audition are at Lowther Pavilion on Saturday from 10am to noon and children wishing to audition should be no younger than nine by September 1 this year.

Application packs must be filled in, with two photos attached, and taken along on the day. Download them from www.polkadotpantomimes.co.uk, or email [email protected]
