Walking the Lights for cancer care

The recently-formed Marie Curie Lytham St Annes fun-raising group is walking the Lights for charity.

The march, which is set to take place on Friday October 28, will begin at Red Bank Road in Bispham at 6.30pm, and will finish at Starr Gate tram stop.

Fund-raisers wearing Marie Curie sweatshirts decorated with flashing fairy lights will be carrying buckets to collect donations. St Annes carnival queen Emma Hanson will be in attendance to show her support for cancer care throughout her reign.

People are invited to meet with the charity crowd and take part in group meetings, which will be held on the second Tuesday of each month at theNumber 15 pub in St Annes Square at 6.30pm starting next year.
