Solicitor Ed White has joined the Edward Street firm, bringing with him almost 10 years’ legal experience.

Ed, 33, will join the conveyancing team at Blackhurst Budd after specialising in working with the sale and purchase of residential properties throughout his career.

He said: “I am delighted to be given the opportunity to work with everyone at Blackhurst Budd. It is very much a forward-thinking law firm and one that continues to go from strength to strength, so I know this is a great move for me.”

Blackpool born and bred Ed was educated at Roseacre Primary, Highfield Humanities and Blackpool Sixth before going on to study Law at Staffordshire University.

He has worked in a number of law firms across the UK within their conveyancing departments, including Cheshire-based Poole Alcock LLP and Southport’s DC Law, but wanted to make the move back to his home town.

Ed, who lives with wife Kelly, added: “Blackpool and the Fylde coast is my home and it is great to be given the opportunity to return to my roots.”

Blackhurst Budd Managing Director Warren Spencer said: “Ed is a great appointment for Blackhurst Budd. He’s worked with some very high profile clients and some of the major estate agencies in the UK managing high volume transactions for numerous properties which I have no doubt will have a really positive impact on his new role.”
