The Victoria Road West Argos store in Cleveleys closed in March after the announcement of the first UK lockdown to stop the spread of Covid-19.
After months of uncertainty, Sainsbury's, which bought Argos in 2016, confirmed to The Gazette yesterday that its doors would not reopen, along with 119 other standalone stores in the UK.
