Official figures from NHS England now reveal how many people have been vaccinated in neighbourhoods across the country.
In Fylde, 35,729 people had received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine between December 8, 2020 and March 7, 2021, including 16,571 over 70s.
In December the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) advised that care home residents should be prioritised for a vaccine to prevent further deaths, followed by over 80s, over 75s and then over 70s. This was alongside healthcare staff.
The uptake varies across neighbourhoods though.

4,633 people have been vaccinated in St George's. This represents 52 per cent of people aged 16 and over in the area.
2. Ansdell & Fairhaven
5,214 people have been vaccinated in Ansdell & Fairhaven. This represents 58 per cent of people aged 16 and over in the area.
3. St Annes North & Airport
3,153 people have been vaccinated in St Annes North & Airport. This represents 52 per cent of people aged 16 and over in the area.
4. Clifton & Newton-with-Scales
2,459 people have been vaccinated in Clifton & Newton-with-Scales. This represents 42 per cent of people aged 16 and over in the area.
5. Lytham
4,056 people have been vaccinated in Lytham. This represents 52 per cent of people aged 16 and over in the area.
6. Heyhouses & Park
4,151 people have been vaccinated in Heyhouses & Park. This represents 58 per cent of people aged 16 and over in the area.
