At one point there were more than 2,000 members of the G-Squad, it was an immensely popular club for youngsters across the Fylde coast who delivered the papers and even helped to drum up new, regular orders.

We did competitions for the kids to win. I remember a night of mayhem at a club in Blackpool who let us have the place early evening!"
