St Annes Carnival 2019

St Annes Carnival 2019: Can you spot yourself? 29 photos from a weekend of fun and fund-raising

It was a weekend to remember for St Annes as the town enjoyed its annual carnival and bumper weekend of fun and fund-raising.

It all began on Friday, with the Piano in the Park sessions being staged for the third year running. Saturday saw the traditional procession, with some remarkably colourful and impressive costumes from participants, young and older, including more than a few superheroes. There was also the crowning of carnival queen Georgia Ashleigh Roberts, who will be raising funds for the Marie Curie Charity during her year in the role.
