Appeal to find Gooseberry the snake's owner
An appeal has gone out in an effort to reunite a snake - found in Lytham - with its owner.
The California King Snake was discovered trapped in netting by a shocked couple as they went to pick gooseberries.
Now called Gooseberry, the RSPCA tweeted that the reptile “didn’t have lasting damage and is doing well”.
