Santander and Lloyds TSB branches in Lytham have had their cash machines interfered with.

Santander’s Lytham branch, based at 75, Clifton Street, Lytham, will close today and reopen on August 29 while a complete refurbishment is carried out.

During the temporary closure, Santander account holders can visit other branches, including: 54 St Annes Rd West, St Annes; 36 Poulton Street, Kirkham and 34-36, Church Street, Blackpool

The six members of staff from Lytham branch will be relocated to St Anne’s, Kirkham and Blackpool branches while the refurbishment work is carried out.

Thomas Wilcox, Branch Manager of Lytham Branch, said: “We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers by the temporary closure.

“However, we are delighted to be able to demonstrate our commitment to the local community by making such a big investment in this refurbishment.”
