Black-ties and business at annual awards
Organised by the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, the BIBAS see local firms and business people recognised for their efforts and success.
After a rigorous judging process, a crop of awards were presented at the black-tie event – including the Lancastrian of The Year lifetime achievement award, to Wrea Green-based businessman and Preston Guild Hall owner Simon Rigby, Business Person of The Year to Ashley Hackett, of Blackpool FC Community Trust and Leisure Business of the Year Award to the Winter Gardens.

Hide AdActor Nigel Havers – known for starring in TV shows such as Upstairs Downstairs an Don’t Wait Up and with film credits including Chariots Of Fire and A Passage To India – was the surprise guest presenter for this year’s event and entertainment came from Boyzlife and Smooth FM.
The BIBAs is Lancashire’s biggest and longest-running award scheme.
