Booths surplus supports food bank
Collection points have been set up at the company’s stores in St Annes and Poulton, along with leaflets explaining the type of food needed.

Hide Ad“Blackpool Food Partnership is now distributing £57,000 a year of surplus food.
“We currently collect frozen bread, fruit and vegetables, damaged tinned and dried items from Booths and will soon be collecting some dairy products too.”
Colin Porter, from Booths, said: “To be able to do something kind and practical with our food waste means a great deal to Booths, and it’s reassuring to know we’ve been able to help so many people locally.”
