BREAKING NEWS: Pensioner hurt as car smashes into garden wall
A passing doctor pulled over to help a pensioner who crashed his car into a garden wall earlier.
The man, believed to be 87, was hurt when his red Vauxhall Corsa crashed on Heyhouses Lane, St Annes, at around 11.40am, police said.
The junction of St Annes Road and Heyhouses Lane, near the Queensway pub, is currently closed, a spokesman said.
The extent of the man’s injuries are not yet known.
