Chance to join police force as an apprentice

The force is hiring young people aged 16 to 23 in a variety of roles.

At an event earlier this month, more than 150 attended to find out more about the apprenticeships.

Police said they had received more than 35 applications on the back of the event, at the force’s Hutton headquarters.

Recruitment manager Louise Miller said: “Lancashire Police is a fantastic place to work, whether you are full time or a volunteer.

“Hopefully what the young people saw and heard at the event will inspire them to sign up.”

Two of the roles on offer at the office of Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner.
