Students and staff at Carr Hill Sixth Form Centre proudly marked another year of top class results.
All vocational course students achieved a passing grade, with students sitting A-levels achieving a 99 per cent pass rate.
Tawana Gardner, who achieved A grades in psychology and religious studies and a B in English literature, will take a place at Hull University where she will study psychology.
She said: “I feel relieved! I tried not to think about my results too much over the summer but as soon as I woke up this morning it was all I could think about. Now I can start looking forward to starting my university course.”
Assistant headteacher Graeme Napier said: “This year our students have, yet again, achieved a collective of results to be very proud of.
“Across the sixth form our pupils have shown that with dedication and the opportunities available to them at Carr Hill, they can achieve great things.
“We are pleased to be able to say that our students continue to do exceptionally well in both academic and vocational courses demonstrating that our sixth form can cater for all students whatever their future goals.
“We have seen some exceptional individual results and I’m proud of every one of our students who has worked to the best of their ability.”
