Two men are to face trial later this month accused of being involved in a cash raid at a Lytham bank.

Daniel Henson, 27, of Peel Green, Salford, and Lee McKeever, 25, of Rydal Crescent, Swinton, are accused of conspiracy to commit robbery.

The charges relate to an alleged cash in transit raid at Santander Bank in Clifton Street in November last year.

The incident is alleged to have taken place around 8.15pm on November 26, when a gang of men are said to have stolen cash from security guards.

The pair are due to appear at Preston Crown Court on October 27.

Four other people, aged between 24 and 31, from the Manchester and
Fylde coast areas, have also been charged in connection with the incident.
