Five accused in drugs probe

Four men and a woman have made their first appearance at court charged with running a drugs ring in south Fylde.

The five are accused of conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin between February and May this year.

The four men were remanded in custody by Blackpool Magistrates to appear at Preston Crown Court on June 8.

The men are Peter Jessop, 31, of Kirkby, Merseyside; Richard Townsend, 48, of no fixed address; 
Michael Parkin, 47, of Elmhurst Road, St Annes and Dean Wilcott, 30, from Liverpool.

Nichola O’Toole, 50, of St Annes Road East, St Annes was granted bail on condition she reports to St Annes police station each day.

Pam Smith, prosecuting, said police enquiries were ongoing and more arrests were expected.
