A man enjoyed a pizza buffet and beer at a Blackpool restaurant then didn’t pay.
Mark Howarth was seen by the manager of Pizza Hut in Church Street, to put his bill on another table on October 19.
Defence lawyer Brett Chappell, said the root cause of Howarth’s offending was alcohol and his client was drinking eight to nine litres of cider a day.
Howarth, 41, formerly of Auburn Drive, Blackburn, who used to live in a tent in a couple’s garden in Clifton Drive, Lytham, told the court he was now living at Leven’s Grove, Blackpool.
He pleaded guilty to fraudulently obtaining food and drink and breaching a conditional discharge imposed for stealing. He was sentenced to a 12- month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £180 court charge with £10.34 compensation.
