A Merseyside man is wanted after a family were threatened with murder at a home in Blackpool.

Police are on the hunt for Richard Redmond, 22, after a family reported that a man had threatened to kill them at their home in the resort in July.

The family said a man had made "serious threats to kill them" after they had asked him to leave their home on July 4.

Redmond, who also uses the surnames Newall and Redmon, as well as the name Thomas Roberts, is originally from Liverpool and speaks with a Liverpool accent, but his last known address was is in St Annes.

He also has links to Blackpool, Lytham and Merseyside.

Redmond is described as around 5ft 4ins, of small build with hazel eyes and shoulder length red hair.

A police spokesman said: "Have you seen Richard Redmond, 22? We want to speak to him after serious threats to kill were made by a man who was asked to leave a property in Blackpool in July."
