A mum-of-four, accused of the multiple stabbing of her husband, has made her first appearance at court.

Rhiannon Lee is alleged to have knifed her husband in the back.

It is alleged the knife injuries included a punctured lung, as well as injuries to the victim’s shoulder and hand.

Lee, 28, of Osborne Road, South Shore is charged with maliciously wounding her victim with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm.

The attack is alleged to have taken place at an address in Cavendish Road, Bispham, on Saturday .

Pam Smith, prosecuting, said the case had to be heard at the higher crown court.

Defence lawyer, Howard Green, said his client had indicated she would plead not guilty to the offence.

Lee was bailed to appear at Preston Crown Court on November 25 by Blackpool magistrates.

Lee must live at her given address and not contact the complainant or enter Cavendish Road as conditions of her bail.
