Student harassed his former partner

A mature student made threats on Facebook and in public against the mother of his three children.

Kofi Ofiasabere Annoh was found guilty of harassing his former partner.

He was found guilty of causing £320 of damage to her car by scratching the paintwork.

Annoh, 36, of Bedford Road, Blackpool, was also convicted of assaulting a store security guard he believed was having an affair with his former partner.

Pam Smith, prosecuting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court, said there were conflicts over access to their three children.

Allan Cobain, defending, said: “He has taken things badly.”

Annoh was given a 12- month community order to do 140 hours’ unpaid work, undergo 25 days’ rehabilitation, made the subject of a two-year restraining order, and must pay a total of ££445 compensation.
