Police say that following seven drug warrants the town’s magistrates court granted a three-month closure order on the house in Ashton Road between Central Drive and Park Road.

A spokesman for Blackpool Police said: “This closure order is the culmination of months of hard work by Blackpool South Neighbourhood officers and Blackpool Council’s Community Safety and Anti-Social Behaviour teams.

“Ongoing criminal matters will continue to be investigated and the offenders brought to justice.

“e would like to thank the community for their patience and support with this order.

“Properties and their occupants that are engaging in anti-social behaviour and criminal activity affecting our communities will continue to be dealt with robustly by ourselves and Blackpool Council.”

The closure order comes just two weeks after five houses in Ashton Road were raided by police following complaints from residents. Three people were arrested.
