Thousands of toys seized in crackdown
A court heard that the toys had been sold to high street stores by a London-based wholesaler.
The massive haul, made by trading standards officers from Blackpool, was prompted by a member of the public complaining that a Ninja Turtle figure she had bought in the resort was not genuine.

Hide AdBlackpool Magistrates sent the supplier Amazing Savings Ltd of The Vale Golders Green, London and its director Jacob Kahn, 63, of Parkway, Golders Green to Preston Crown Court for trial.
The firm and Kahn will appear on June 29. Kahn was bailed. Both defendants denied 17 trademark offences involving nine different toys such as Spiderman and Ninja Turtles.
