False alarm as fire crews rush to Lytham Hall

Firefighters were called out to Lytham Hall at 2.30pm this afternoon after an automatic fire alarm went off.

But after crews from Lytham and St Annes attend the scene and investigated, it became clear there was no sign of a fire.

The incident was put down to a fault with the apparatus.
