Fast Car DJ Jonas Blue hits the gas for Slimefest shows

DJ Jonas Blue and girl band M.O are the latest acts confirmed for Slimefest's return to Blackpool Pleasure Beach Arena.

The music-, fun- and slime-filled weekend is back in the resort from Friday to Sunday, October 20 to 22, courtesy of Nickelodeon in partnership with VisitBlackpool.

Brit DJ Jonas Blue and M.O performers YouTube stars Max and Harvey, JoJo Siwa and BGT's Diversity, as well as a special appearance from Kira Kosarin of the The Thundermans on stage, with Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely returning as hosts.

Jonas said: "I'm so excited to play for you all at Slimefest in October, see you at the slime pit."

Born and raised in London, MTV EMA and BRIT Award nominee Jonas Blue has taken the music industry by storm with more than 3.5billion streams.

His debut single Fast Car featured the vocal talents of Dakota and quickly became a global smash selling more than 6million records worldwide.

Who Do You Think Of girl band M.O played last year's Slimefest and said: "We can’t wait to be back performing in Blackpool – and get slimey too of course."

This summer they are performing with Rita Ora and Not3s as well as playing at festivals and working on their debut album.

Deputy leader of Blackpool Council Cllr Gillian Campbell said: "We are thrilled to see more talent being lined up for the Slimefest shows in Blackpool.

"We know from the huge success of last year’s shows that the audiences can expect another spectacular mix of music and mayhem."

Last year’s sell-out slime-filled music shows were a huge success with parents and kids alike.

JoJo Siwa and Diversity are both returning to the Slimefest stage this October as well as hosts Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely.

Further headlining and supporting acts to be announced in the coming months.
