Monday morning stresses for Rossall School pupils have been eased with a new network to make the school run easier.

The independent school has partnered with kiddidrop.com to help parents find others to liftshare with.

The school hopes it will also help to ease congestion around the Broadway campus as well as reduce emissions and improve road safety.

Headteacher Elaine Purves said: “We are keen to support our parents and children in any way we can.

“Of course there are other major benefits.

“As more people travel in a single car, the number of cars coming to and from school daily will decline, improving road-safety and reducing emissions and congestion in the car park and immediate area.”
