THE couple behind the return of beach huts to St Annes are looking forward to a successful debut season – starting with brisk activity over Easter.

Despite the recent poor weather, Stuart and Zoe Robertson report that there has been plenty of interest in the seafront huts available for day bookings.

“We are delighted with the interest so far – as well as what is looking like a promising Easter, we have had bookings already going onto May, June and July,” said Stuart.

“The inquiries have come from all over the region, including some from close to home, and we have recently had a booking for a 40th birthday party at one of the huts.

“We have had a few day rentals already and there has been some great feedback from customers telling us it has been a really exciting addition to their holiday experience.

“The weather hasn’t been the best, but thankfully it hasn’t put everyone off – there are heaters in the huts and it can be rather cosy in there. We also provide wheelchair access.”

There are currently five huts on the seafront but the Robertsons have planning permission for more and Stuart added that if the season goes well, they might look at erecting more later this year.

The huts are available to buy at £24,995 this year, while rental is from £45 per day. Availability and bookings at
