A coroner will today hold a hearing into the death of a man whose body was discovered on Lytham foreshore.
The body of Michael Currie, 39, was found on the sands at around 2pm on Sunday, March 8.
The discovery was made around half a mile from the shore in Lytham estuary.
A police investigation was launched in a bid to find out how the body of the Blackpool man came to be in the water.
However, police said at the time that the death was not being treated as suspicious.
Senior coroner Alan Wilson, sitting at Blackpool Coroners Court in the Town Hall, will hold a hearing at 10am today.
