An idyllic summer’s day helped launch Fylde’s festival season.
Thousands turned out to support the traditional Kirkham and Wesham Club Day parade.
The event sees churches in the two towns join together for a procession of witness along the streets, involving hundreds of schoolchildren and families.
Afternoon garden parties were hosted by several churches, while fairground rides were also on offer.
Organiser Steve Cross said: “It was fabulous and we had a great day.
“Last year we had a bad day weather-wise and this year we had an idyllic day.
“Everything went well and from my point of view there were no complaints.”
