MP welcomes new care hub for Lytham

Mark Menzies MP was invited to the launch of Mosaic Community Care’s new Lytham branch on Clifton Street.

During the event, he spoke to staff about the work they do to help people who wish to live independently, but still may need that bit of extra help.

Mosaic Community Care help support the elderly and the disabled to live at home, providing services such as cooking and cleaning.

Mr Menzies (pictured) said: “During the visit, I was also pleased to hear that Mosaic offers services for carers to assist them with the tough job of looking after loved ones who may require extra support.

“Often the welfare of carers can be overlooked but they provide a crucial 
service which allows people to stay within the safety and security of their own home, rather than be put into professional care. They need a support structure to do that important job and it is vital they have access to the help they need.”
