Meanwhile, 1980s heart-throb Paul Young will be laying his hat in Lytham in a special warm-up concert for this year’s Lytham Festival.

His concert in Lytham is being presented by Lytham Festival organisers and promoters Cuffe and Taylor as a taster of the fantastic acts appearing at the festival’s Mix Tape night on Friday, August 5.

Cuffe and Taylor director Peter Taylor said: “We are delighted that Lytham Festival is presenting Paul Young for one night only.

“His name and voice is synonymous with the sound of the 80s and I am sure there are many of his fans who would absolutely love to see him in the intimate setting of Lowther Pavilion.

“This presents us with the perfect taster of what is going to be an incredible night at Lytham Festival when an eclectic mix of artists from the 70s through to the 90s take to the stage in the main Festival Arena on Lytham Green for our Mix Tape night.”
