Lucy Letby was found guilty of killing seven babies in her care at the Countess of Chester Hospital neonatal unit between June 2015 and June 2016.
She was also found guilty of the attempted murders of six others.

RAAC -Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Several was found in school buildings and classrooms across England forcing them to close due to them being made with concrete prone to collapsing.
The government had been aware of RAAC in schools since 1994, and had been discussing the risks with schools since 2018.

On October 28 many woke up to the heartbreaking news that Friends Actor Matthew Perry had died. Perry was found unresponsive in a hot tub at his home in Los Angeles.
