Hundreds of keen runners of all ages gathered at Stanley Park to take part in the two-lap run despite the wet and windy conditions.
Parkrun is a free, community event where you can walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate. The distance is 5k and runs take place every Saturday morning.
Junior parkrun is 2k and is aimed at 4-14 year olds and their families, with runs taking place every Sunday morning.
