Community kitchen handed kind donation to make meals for vulnerable people

A community kitchen which offers food and meals to people in need has been handed a donation from Lytham Rotary.

Joint chairman of Lytham Rotary Community Service Committee, John Ardern and Peter Haworth, presented a cheque of £500 to Paul Caddy, of Wesley’s community kitchen.

Wesley’s is based at Church Road Methodist Church Community Hub in St Annes

The donation follows the £1,000 Lytham Rotary presented to the project last month for the urgent purchase of two refrigerators and tables. Wesley’s cooks 80 hot meals weekly while

Wesley’s Larder also supplies food to 30 households per week.
