Some are truly heart-breaking involving serious neglect whilst others have found themselves in the amazing care of the RSPCA because their owners have died, become ill or are simply unable to care for them anymore. Whatever their circumstances their stories all deserve happy endings. More information about the individual animals can be found on Blackpool and North Fylde RSPCA website including adoption fees and requirements.
Fosters, Hendrick and Bombay are ready for adoption after their owner was unable to care for them due to health reasons. They are friendly and active mice who are very quick when being handled so they are not suitable for young children. It is essential that they are placed in large secure cages to avoid any escapes Photo: Blackpool RSPCA
This little beautiful love is Juliana who is looking for a home to call her own after the death of her previous owner. On arrival, Juliana, who is two, was quite nervous of new people but after giving her the time to feel safe and secure, she is super friendly, playful and affectionate Photo: Blackpool RSPCA
Shy boy Callum came to the centre after being found as a stray. It has taken a while for staff to gain his trust as he was very scared but with time and patience, they are starting to see a huge difference in him Photo: Blackpool RSPCA
Gorgeous Jack is an affectionate boy who has a fantastic temperament with people. He is between six and 12 months old and is looking for an active home with someone who will be able to provide him with plenty of companionship. At the moment he needs a foster home as he is part of an ongoing prosecution case which could take up to two years. See RSPCA link above for full details Photo: National World
Seb, who is two, came into RSPCA care along with his siblings in July 2021 after they were an accidental litter leading to too many rabbits in the home. He has been rehomed in that time but has since found himself back in RSPCA care through no fault of his own. Seb is a confident rabbit and enjoys being stroked. Benji (black) and Hugo have found themselves looking for a new home after their owner had a change in circumstances and could no longer car for them. They are friendly gerbils but can be incredibly fast moving so they are not suitable pets for children. They need rehoming together with a large gerbilarium Photo: Blackpool RSPCA
