MUSIC fans who haven’t yet snapped up their tickets for Lytham Proms have until August 1 to purchase them at a discount rate.
After that, the price of tickets for the Boyzone concert on Friday, August 7 will rise to £50, while general admission to see Status Quo, on Friday, August 5, and Katherine Jenkins on Saturday, August 6 will go up to £37.50 and £40 respectively.
VIP seats for Status Quo and Katherine Jenkins have long since sold out, while no more grandstand tickets remain for Boyzone, but as the Express went to press, tickets remained in all other areas for all three nights.
“If anyone is still waiting to buy their tickets, early application is advised,” said a spokesman for promoters Cuffe and Taylor Management. From August 1, prices will increase for all three acts.”
Status Quo kick off the festival on Friday, August 5 and will be supported by Next Stop Atlanta, the Preston band who won the Fylde’s Got The Rock Factor competition. Status Quo will be on stage at 8pm.
Support for Katherine Jenkins on the Saturday will be provided by X Factor boy band The Reason 4, with Katherine due on stage at 7.30pm, while Boyzone are due on stage at 8pm on the Sunday after support from Lucy Ella and Parade.
