Police said Fisher's disappearance "is concerning" and they have now launched an appeal for any information about his whereabouts.

PC Sean Dixon, of Blackpool Police, said: "Our enquiries suggest he is in the Fleetwood area.

"David can be violent if approached and we would urge anyone who has seen him, or a man matching his description, to come forward with information.

"If you do see him, do not approach him but instead call police."
