Teenager accused of £3.5k damage

A teenager has been accused of causing £3,499 worth of damage to the windows of business premises at Lytham.

Dre McKay, 18, formerly of Dock Road, Lytham, now living at Glen Eldon Court, St Annes, is alleged to have caused damage at Lytham Quality Pies and the Amplifon Company on Clifton Street on September 18 last year.

He is also accused of stealing a chicken wrap valued at £3 from Booths, Lytham.

McKay was not present at court and his case was adjourned by Blackpool magistrates.
