A woman stole more than £400 worth of goods from shops in St Annes on one day.

Katie Morgan, 22, of Lewtas Street, North Shore, pleaded guilty to three offences of theft.

Pam Smith, prosecuting, said Morgan stole £369 worth of cosmetics from Boots, perfume
costing £18 from B&M Bargains, and cosmetics valued at £23 from Superdrug on December 17.

At the time of the offences, Morgan was
on a suspended prison sentence imposed for shoplifting.

Stephen Duffy, defending, told magistrates: “She said she had issues at home and needed money to get out of the area.”

Blackpool magistrates decided to bail Morgan for pre-sentence reports.

She will be sentenced at a date to be decided by Blackpool magistrates.
