Third man in court in relation to alleged shooting

A third man from Lytham is due in court this morning in relation to an alleged shooting incident.

Kevin King, 30, of Lodge Lane, Lytham, has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

He is due to appear at Blackburn Magistrates court this morning [Friday].

A 25-year-old woman, from Lytham St Annes, has been bailed until April 16, after being arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and perverting the course of justice.

The hearing relates to an alleged incident on Maudsley Road, Accrington, on January 12.

Two other men, Donovan Wallace, 26, from Lytham, and Jack Wilding, 20, of no fixed address, were charged with the attempted murder in January.

They are due to stand trial later this year.
