Il Divo - Swiss tenor Urs Buhler, Spanish baritone Carlos Marin, French pop artist Sébastien Izambard and American tenor David Miller - were discovered by Simon Cowell and since then have notched up 30 million-plus global album sales.

Among the anticipated highlights of the show, which will also feature Olivier Award-winning stage and screen star Martine McCutcheon, will be a special performance of singing sensation Adele’s hit Hello.

Carlos said: “There will be dancers, as well as a 20-piece orchestra, and songs from the 30s to contemporary... Our new single is Adele’s Hello - or Hola in Spanish, and it’s the first time she’s given permission any of her songs in another language.”

“I remember hearing that the first day it came out, and thinking it could be a song we would do very well,” Urs added.

“It’s quite a boring process to ask for the permission, a lot of admin’, but we’re very proud and happy that Adele approved the Spanish version. She’s very protective over her material, and rightly so.”

Although none of the members come from the UK, Il Divo consider themselves to have British roots, having been created here, and they’re looking forward to celebrating the anniversary.

“It’s pretty amazing, we have to pinch ourselves that it’s been 15 years,” Urs said. “Yes, there are rock stars like the Rolling Stones who’ve been around 50 years, but in the time since we started, bands reaching 15 years hasn’t really happened.”
