Person rescued by firefighters after two-vehicle crash near Poulton-le-Fylde

A person was cut out of a vehicle by firefighters following a road traffic collision near Poulton-le-Fylde.

Two fire engines from Blackpool attended a two-vehicle collision in Mains Lane, Singleton, at around 9pm on Sunday (October 16).

Firefighters used holmatro cutters and spreaders to rescue one person from a vehicle.

Crews then worked to make the scene safe before leaving two casualties in the care of paramedics.

The fire service was in attendance for approximately 30 minutes.

North West Ambulance Service have been approached for more information.
