Torrential downpours did not deter hardcore Rita Ora fans who waited more than three and a half hours to see their idol at Lytham Proms.
Imitating her signature look of a bowler hat and red lip stick her legions of fans were forced to team their outfits with wellies and disposable rain macs.
The unrelenting rain did not dampen spirits however, as thousands of Rita Ora fans welcomed her on to the stage with cheers of adoration.
Dressed head to toe in black leather, the pop superstar wowed the crowd with all her major hits including RIP, How we do and Radioactive.
The Kosovan-born singer even shed a tear when she performed Mary J Blige’s ‘Everything’.
Earlier in the evening, brave music lovers watched Connor Maynard through the heaviest downpours if the evening with as much enthusiasm as the star himself.
Others performers included Stooshe, who almost missed the show after getting stuck in traffic. Singer songwriter Ed Drewett, well known for writing hits for The Wanted and Olly Murs also performed along with Fylde’s Got Talent winner Hanah Joy and Britain’s Got Talent Act Reconnected. But it was Rita who stole the show and left her fans wanting more.
