Your 5-day Blackpool weather forecast: This is how much sun we can expect this week
The recent sunny weather was perfectly timed for the reopening of beer gardens and outdoor dining. But will it last?
The sun is expected to keep shining on Blackpool for much of this week, but cloudy intervals might bring a few chilly breezes.
According to forecasters at the Met Office, we can expect a typical British mix of bright sunshine, cloudy intervals,cool breezes and the odd shower.
Here is a round-up of the forecast for the next five days - from Wednesday morning (April 21) to Sunday evening (April 25).
Wednesday will begin cloudy, but this will clear in the afternoon leaving a dry day with plenty of sunshine. Breezy and cool with no rain forecast.
Temperatures will range from 8C in the morning, a max of 13C between 3pm and 6pm, and a low 6C later in the evening.
Thursday has been predicted to be a fine, sunny day with light winds forecast. No rain has been predicted.
Temperatures will range from a chilly 2C in the morning to a maximum of 12C in the afternoon.
Friday will be much the same, with sunshine throughout most of the day.
There might be a mild breeze that is likely to feel chilly under cloud cover in the evening, but the sky is expected to remain clear for much of the morning and afternoon.
No rain has been forecast and temperatures could reach a maximum of 15C at around 4pm.
But the Met Office has warned that overnight frosts are still possible.
Saturday is likely to be cooler with patchy cloud expected for much of the day.
But there will also be plenty of sunny spells and it will continue to stay dry with no rain forecast.
It is expected to be sunnier in the late afternoon/early evening when we might see temperatures of around 14C.
The forecast for Sunday is still subject to change, but the Met Office say we are likely to have more sunny weather with max temps of 13C in the late afternoon.
